Spent the week with my daughter Natalie, enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with a group of people who are away from their families for Thanksgiving.

News here on Fort Hood is that the next group of men and women are getting ready to deploy for Iraq. The show of patriotism is HUGE and inspiring.

I took cool pictures will add them when I get home. I have to say, you certainly get a different view of what’s happening in Iraq when you spend some time on a military installation. Please add those who are in Iraq, those who are going to Iraq and those newly home from Iraq to your prayers. These are special people indeed!

During this holiday season, keep those you love close to your heart, and open your heart to new ones too!
