Gosh it’s been forever since I have taken some time to update my space.  About a million things have happened since then!  The most important being the birth of my granddaughter Isabel Faye.  She was born May 19, 2006.  Weighing in at 8lbs. 8oz.   I was there for the labor and delivery.  Such a wonderful experience to have has a mom and a grandmother.  I am posting newer pics of each of the grandbabies too.

Ya know I sorta thought at my age I was finished with doing stupid things. In reality of every day life I am not finished with stupid things.  

 

Can I take you them back?

 

Can I pretend they didn’t happen?

 

Is that what I really want? 

 

Can I start the day over?

 

I know the answers to those questions; I am thinking they are not the answers I want.

Well, I am back from Texas, safe and sound!  Gotta tell ya my Texas State Trooper story!  I was on my way home............ Texas is a W I D E state  :) 

I had just reached Interstate 10 when I stopped for gas.  I filled up, got back on the road and my cell phone rang.............  I looked down, knew I was over the speed limit so I slowed down, but being on the phone, didn't take long for me to speed up again, soon I saw those dreaded flashing lights in the rear view mirror!  So I pulled over, got off the phone, trooper asked me why I was in Texas, told him about my daughter, grandbaby, and son in law at Fort Hood, then he asked me where I was heading........... Well my insurance, all that stuff clearly stated California but I smiled and answered anyway! 

He asked me what I did in California, I told him I work in a high school, he says well............ and body who works in a high school in California deserves a break, so he gave me a warning and sent me on my way!  I was ever so careful until I got out of Texas, I made it home safely, miss my daughter like crazy and can't wait to go back to see her when the baby comes! 

In the mean time the younger one goes to the doctor on Friday, hopefully we will find out if it’s a boy or a girl!

Hi everyone! 

 

OK here is the latest and greatest news on the home front. 

Natalie is due March 21 and if you haven’t heard……… It’s a BOY J 

Caitlyn’s baby is due May 9^th. Updates to come on gender  …… My trip to Texas is still on with a few minor set backs……  nothing I can’t handle.  

 

I am happy to report that I am doing very well, happier than ever….. and if that right man is out there, wish he would wave a flag, send me an email, or just stand up and say HEY!

It has turned out to be a very busy month for me, and a very exciting time as well.  I have just found out that my youngest daughter is having a baby too!  So next year I will be grandma times two!  I am so looking forward to being a grandma……….  All the fun without all the other stuff!  

 

I am planning a trip to Texas mid November, I am rather excited about that!  I will post pictures when I get back.  

 

Gearing up for Halloween, my costume, will of course, be a banana J

It’s time to post again. 

 

Next week, I am off to Sacramento for a few days.  For work, with a lil fun mixed in.  Fall is coming and the weather here has been picture perfect.  I love these warm days and  cool nights. 

 

I am getting ready to take a trip to Texas, gunna see my daughter, and meet my new grandbaby, I think he or she should know me before they enter the world! 

 

I have had the great privilege of meeting up with some old friends recently.   It’s so nice to catch up on things to find that they are alive and well and thriving!  Thank goodness for Instant Messenger! 

 

I have so much to say about a million things, soon I will find away to put them on paper!  So many things are changing in my life, so many things I have been moving towards for such a long time are coming to me now  Its exciting and I want to share them all with everyone!

Well school has started, things are  semi normal  J 

We have sudden influx of new students and its kept me hoppin.  Not that its any excuse for not posting here on my space.  Truthfully, you have to have news to post  J  OK so I got a little and decided  I would share with all of you. 

 

First let me say I am as excited today as I was yesterday about becoming a grandma.  To that the cycle of life starts with another generation is just humbling and ever so wonderful. 

 

Next, and never least, I heard from an old friend today.  Haven’t spoke with him ages, we compared notes, talked about personal growth, and remembered with fondness the times we shared.  Michael, if you read this, I promise not to let months go by before you hear from me again. Congratulations, on your upcoming wedding.  I knew you would find happiness.  Good show, my Irish friend. 

 

Let me leave with a parting piece of wisdom.  Everything happens for a reason.  It might take you some time to figure out what the reason is, but when you get it, man you get it! 

 

Live life, be happy, and keep in touch!

How absolutely thrilling to hear the double boom of the space shuttle landing this morning!  It has been a very long time since Southern California has had the change to host the landing of a shuttle mission!  This was the 50^th landing for a space shuttle at Edwards AFB since 1981.  I hope to have some pictures of the shuttle and its ride back to Florida J  Good Stuff, Good News! 

 

The saga of life changes continues for me.  I am trying to embrace those changes instead of fighting them!  Not my normal way to do things I assure you.  So far……………  its all been good!

It’s been a few days since I posted.  I was supposed to be in San Francisco about now but………… I got offered some over contract time so instead I am back at work!  That’s what happens when you have bills to pay! 

 

I have wonderful news to share!  I found out recently I am gunna be a grandma!  I young grandma of course, but a grandma none the less!  I am more than a little excited!!!!!!!!  It’s about the best news ever!  I will keep you all posted on this topic, perhaps to the point of boredom !

Morning!

 

Its Friday, and summer school is almost over J   I have several topics that I want to touch on today . 

 

 I always find it amazing that the kids who fail all year long also fail in summer school J  We give them so many opportunities to be successful and this is what happens.  Sorta scares me that these young people will some day be leading our nation! 

 

Chief Justice Rehnquist isn’t resigning!  Somehow having Bush stack the Supreme Court with conservatives isn’t my idea of fun!  We need people who have the ability to weigh an idea and come out with a point of view that helps as many people as possible.  Not one that serves the needs of a few!  OK off my soap box :P

 

Last and most important,  I AM GUNNA BE A GRANDMA!   My first time.  Baby is due March 15^th or so.  Needless to say, I am just a lil bit excited!  I will post a pic of the mom to be on the website soon!  I just got a new computer, and I still gotta move all my stuff from old to new.
